F18 catamaran
Role and mission

Founded in 2007 by Mylène Éthier, Martin Mergl and Sylvain Carignan, CanF18 is a non-profit organization that works to benefit F18 catamaran enthusiasts.
The role of CanF18 is to:
-
Bringing together F18 catamaran enthusiasts from across the country;
-
To help develop the F18 class by representing Canadian values and interests within the F18 International organizing committee;
-
Contribute to the annual organization of a Canadian championship;
-
To allow the Canadian sailor to compete on the major F-18 International circuit.
-
In order to successfully fulfill our mission, here are the objectives that CanF18 has set for itself:
-
To promote sport in every province throughout the season;
-
Supporting the hosts of F18 regattas;
-
To ensure the participation of members in the various regattas overseen by CanF18.
Your support and collaboration is one of the key factors in our success and, consequently, in your enjoyment of navigating within this group!
President's Message
Dear CanF18 members,
It is with immense pride that I take the helm as the new president of our wonderful association. Together, we share a common passion: the F18 catamaran, this spectacular class that brings us together on the water and in our love of sailing.
This year, I am committed to bringing a fresh perspective to our community, while building upon the solid foundations laid by those who came before us. Our goal? To promote the CanF18, offer memorable experiences on the water, and strengthen the bonds between enthusiasts across the country.
Each of you plays a vital role in this adventure, and I'm delighted to be able to work with you to continue making our class shine. Thank you for your warm welcome. I look forward to seeing you on the water and sharing many memorable moments with you.
Olivier Pilon
President of CanF18
