Canadian F18 Championship 2026 – Burlington, Ontario
On 11–13 September 2026, the Burlington Beach Catamaran Club hosted the Canadian Formula 18 Championship as part of the 2026 Open Multihull Regatta on Lake Ontario. A fleet of 21 Formula 18 teams lined up for the weekend, with the best crews from Quebec, Ontario and the United States adding a North American flavour to the final F18 event of the Canadian season. Ecovoile 2026
4 days of wind at Carleton-sur-Mer The teams were able to train Thursday and Friday in great conditions — practicing starts, checking their speed, and getting used to the race area. Saturday the race committee sent the fleet away in 5 starts under sunshine in 10–15 knots of easterly breeze. Sextant Marine Regatta 2026 (results)
Last weekend, the members of Canf18 gathered at the Sextant Marine Sailing Club for the 3rd stage of their championship. For the occasion, Mother Nature was on our side and allowed the organizing committee to run a total of 7 races: 4 on Saturday in an SSE wind of 9 to 5 knots, and 3 on Sunday in similar conditions, although the wind dropped quickly by mid-day. QC Circuit event #2 (results)
⛵ Voile Sansoucy successfully held its annual regatta last weekend! ⛵ CANF18 members joined us for the second leg of their 2026 Quebec Circuit. The atmosphere was fantastic both on the water and at the club! It was a wonderful gathering of sailing enthusiasts, especially passionate catamaran sailors 😄.
