On 11–13 September 2026, the Burlington Beach Catamaran Club hosted the Canadian Formula 18 Championship as part of the 2026 Open Multihull Regatta on Lake Ontario. A fleet of 21 Formula 18 teams lined up for the weekend, with the best crews from Quebec, Ontario and the United States adding a North American flavour to the final F18 event of the Canadian season.
