On 11–13 September 2026, the Burlington Beach Catamaran Club hosted the Canadian Formula 18 Championship as part of the 2026 Open Multihull Regatta on Lake Ontario. A fleet of 21 Formula 18 teams lined up for the weekend, with the best crews from Quebec, Ontario and the United States adding a North American flavour to the final F18 event of the Canadian season. ⛵ Voile Sansoucy successfully held its annual regatta last weekend! ⛵ CANF18 members joined us for the second leg of their 2026 Quebec Circuit. The atmosphere was fantastic both on the water and at the club! It was a wonderful gathering of sailing enthusiasts, especially passionate catamaran sailors 😄. We enjoyed excellent wind conditions on Saturday (15-20 knots, shifting direction), which delivered great racing and a fantastic show. In total, 18 catamarans competed intense

The first stage of the 2026 Championship is complete! Last weekend at the Nepean Sailing Club (NSC), the teams sailed 9 races in varied conditions under overcast skies. A big storm rolled in Saturday evening, right after everyone had safely stored their boats. A big thank you to the Nepean Sailing Club for the warm welcome — see you next year!
